Who We Are
Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), through the Research and Development Services Office (RDSO), commits to prioritizing the creation of new knowledge and technology through globally responsive and socially relevant research practices, ensuring that research outputs are transformed into innovation, transcending to a globally competitive and forward-thinking research landscape.
Our Research and Development Services Office
The research operations of CSPC are managed by the Research and Development Services Office (RDSO), which serves as the central body responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the institution’s research programs, policies, and activities. Specifically, the RDSO shall:
- Prepare the annual institutional research agenda, operational plan, and budget.
- Develop, review, and implement research policies, guidelines, and programs aligned with the institution’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Initiate, coordinate, and monitor institutional research programs, projects, and studies to ensure their effective implementation and completion.
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with government agencies, industry, higher education institutions, non-government organizations, and international institutions to support research initiatives.
- Facilitate the publication and dissemination of faculty and student research outputs in institutional, national, and internationally indexed journals, including Scopus and Web of Science.
- Maintain a comprehensive repository of research proposals, completed studies, publications, intellectual property outputs, and all research-related documents, contracts, MOAs, and administrative issuances.
- Oversee the implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and financial accountability of internally and externally funded research projects.
- Provide research capability-building programs, including seminars, workshops, mentoring, technical assistance, and research ethics orientation for faculty, staff, and students.
- Promote interdisciplinary and collaborative research, technology transfer, innovation, and extension initiatives that address institutional, regional, and national development priorities.
- Monitor research productivity, prepare periodic accomplishment reports, recommend incentives for outstanding research performance, and ensure compliance with CHED policies, accreditation standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Our International Conferences
CSPC-RDSO is a leader in academic discourse, hosting several prominent conferences to showcase innovation:
- IMCETEMDS: International Multidisciplinary Conference on Engineering and Technology, Education, Management and Development Studies.
- NaSRIC: National Student Research and Innovation Conference.
- IRCESTEM: International Research Conference on Engineering, Science, Technology, Education, and Management.
Our International Journals
We take pride in our two high-quality, open-access, and international refereed journals:
- Journal of Engineering and Emerging Technologies (JEET): Publishes original research in areas such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Engineering, as well as Information Systems and multidisciplinary studies in technology education.
- Journal of Education, Management and Development Studies (JEMDS): A quarterly publication covering disciplines including Health Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Business Management, and Sustainable Development.
Both journals utilize a double-blind review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity.
